Is WhimsyDo free?

Yes, completely free. No account required, no subscription, no ads.

Where is my data stored?

Everything stays on your device using your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to a server. Clearing your browser data will clear your lists — export a backup from Settings regularly.

What is the Alice Protocol?

A three-zone task system — Active (doing now), To-Do (doing next), and Explore (someday maybe). Designed for brains that need to see everything without being overwhelmed by it.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Open it in your browser and use "Add to Home Screen" to install it like an app. Works on iOS, Android, and desktop.

I cleared my browser and lost my lists. Help?

Unfortunately browser data clears local storage too. Going forward, use the JSON export in Settings to back up regularly. Cloud sync is on the long-term roadmap.
